Solution
The mouse will try to run into its hole as soon as you lift the object it is hiding under.
Use one finger to cover the mouse hole (usually located on the right side of the screen).
With your second finger, lift the bucket or object covering the mouse.
Quickly tap the mouse with your second finger before it can run away!
