Solution
This is a classic riddle! You must count all the openings required to wear the shirt, plus the holes caused by the rips.
The holes are:
- 1 x Neck Hole
- 1 x Bottom Hem Hole (Waist)
- 2 x Sleeve Holes
- 2 x Body Holes (Visible as rips). Since these holes go all the way through the shirt (you can see the background), they count as 4 openings (2 on the front fabric and 2 corresponding openings on the back fabric).
Total: 1 + 1 + 2 + 4 = 8.
