Solution
The bulb is broken, which is why the light won't turn on.
You need a replacement bulb! Look at the level number (234) displayed at the top of the screen.
Drag the number '0' (zero) from anywhere on the screen (often hidden or part of the level indicator) and place it directly onto the broken light bulb to fix it. The light will turn on.
