Count all the openings. A standard T-shirt has 4 major openings (neck, 2 sleeves, bottom hem). If you look closely, there are two large tears in the body of the shirt. Since you can see the background through these tears, they penetrate both the front and back layers of the shirt. Thus, each tear creates 2 holes (one in the front fabric, one in the back fabric).
Total: 4 (major openings) + 2 (front tears) + 2 (back tears) = 8. Tap 8.
